Zero Labs was an integrated design, engineering, and manufacturing company based in Los Angeles, California. We worked with transportation, mobility, marine, commercial, and energy partners to help pioneer the next generation of electric mobility products, receiving more than 80,000 signed order requests representing over $3.6 billion in demand.

Despite this momentum, very few US manufacturers can operate sustainably in the current policy and funding environment. Zero Labs ceased operations in 2025 due to US tariffs, trade tensions, and a lack of scale capital from US venture investors, who continue to favor short-term AI pilots with a 95% failure rate over proven long-term manufacturing. The demand we helped demonstrate continues to rise, even as global electrification markets face similar resistance to funding manufacturing at scale.

Although we continue to receive interest and inquiries, it is unclear whether Zero Labs will reopen in the future under better conditions.
